This week is shaping up to be one of the most eventful weeks of sports we’ve had in what seems like an eternity. The Jordan doc was the whiskey before the beer heading into the NFL Draft this Thursday, April 23rd.
With Joe Burrow and Chase Young expected to be off the board in that order, little is left to be predicted from there on. The Lions want Okudah but wouldn’t want to take him at three, and the Dolphins and Chargers would love to jump to that spot to secure Tua. A dream scenario for the Lions would be a trade back with Miami that would land them a few more picks in this draft and perhaps in 2021 as well.
Meanwhile, with Drew Brees coming into what is believed to be his last couple years, the Saints need to consider finding his predecessor. And with Tom Brady gone does Bill see any QBs in this draft class worth taking a chance on? Jake Fromm perhaps? All while there are multiple top tier WRs and RBs on the board.
Let’s not forget the entertainment factor of watching a bunch of grown men try to work a computer. There is absolutely no way something doesn’t go wrong or there’s a hilarious moment to be remembered. This draft has the potential to boast incredible ratings and will certainly be one for the books.
